Happy Easter

Look how cute they are in their new Easter dresses. We colored eggs last night. Addyson dropped one on the floor and we found out that they weren't cooked all the way.

The Easter Bunny brought lots of things for the girls. He even ate the carrots that Addyson left for him.

PLAYHOUSE!!

We put the playhouse together this morning and the girls haven't come inside since. They even had lunch on their table inside the house. They drove us crazy with the questions while we were assembling the house, "Is it done yet?" "Can we go inside yet?" Eventually they left us alone long enough and it got finished. I am sure they will spend alot of time in the playhouse in the coming months. Scott told me that I spoil them.....yeah, so what. If parents don't spoil their kids, who will???

Hurry Up Spring!!

Does anyone else feel like this winter has been extremely long and cold? I am more of summer person anyway. I can't wait for the snow to stop and the sun to shine. I want to see all the bulbs I planted last fall come up in the beautiful colors. The weather is starting to get depressing so spring better get here soon!! The girls got a new playhouse that they are anxious to play in, we'll put it up when it gets warm enough to spend a few hours outside. Actually though, I think I am more excited than they are about the playhouse. I try to live my childhood through them. The things I never had as a kid, I automatically think they need. Hey, there's nothing wrong with doing better for you kids, is there????

Cookin'

I came home from work the other day and found my family cooking up some corn bread. It was great to get home and see my wife and girls getting along so well and having a good time. The corn bread turned out great.

A Splashing Good Time

We went to the Rec Center tonight for a bit of swimming. The girls really like to splash. We were in the water for about 2.5 hours. Meghan went with us too.

Too Cute!

I love pictures of the girls sleeping. They are so peaceful and sweet.

I always check the girls, usually several times after they are asleep, to make sure they are covered. Last night I went into to Addyson's room and kissed her on the forehead, which woke her up, kinda. She never opened her eyes. She said, "Mom, I love you. (How sweet is that from a sleeping kid) Tell dad he's cute." I had to leave so she wouldn't hear my laughing and really wake up. So I watched some tv and went in to check her again later. "Mom, I love you. Tell dad he's a cute boy. Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite. Don't forget I love you. See you in the morning." She really is a sweetheart and so loving right now. I am enjoying it now because before too long, she won't want to even hug me.
