Janae's 9th Birthday

How can my Janae already be 9? It's gone by fast! She decided on a makeover party for her birthday. The girls got bags and then were led on a scavenger hunt for the products they would need to makeover each other. Armed with brushes, lip gloss, sparkle powder, glitter gel and hair accessories, they were set. They had a lot of fun making their own pizzas too. I'm pretty sure that I will be finding glitter in my bathroom for years! Glad she and her friends had fun though.

Labor Day 2010

For Labor Day, we headed out to Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge. We've driven past it often, but have never taken the girls. We had a picnic, fished a little, saw the old ferry used to take wagons across the river on the Oregon, Mormon and California Trails and enjoyed the day as a family.
