Janae is doing extremely well in school, but then we knew she would. Her last report card had great grades on it. Her school uses the 1-4 marks for grading. She earned three 4's! We are so proud of her. She gets perfect scores on her spelling tests most of the time, usually even without us helping her. We gave her a Strawberry Shortcake cookbook as a reward for her good report card. She was so excited! It has some cute recipes that are kid friendly. When Scott was in Austin a few weeks ago, she and I planned a menu for the night he got home from the cookbook. Was she ever thrilled! We feel blessed to have such a smart kid.

Of course she's smart. I want to see pictures of the beautiful meal created by the cookbook. And I admire you for giving blood! I hate to have my blood drawn and just can't bring myself to donate. Ugghhh..at least Addyson has a good concept of where the blood comes from. Hilarious!
