My name is Marlene and I am a Procrastinator

So, tell me if I am the only person out there that does this. It doesn't matter if Scott is at work or out of town, I find myself being lazy while he is gone. Most days, I find myself rushing around at 4:30 picking things us, doing dishes, folding laundry, whatever needs done that has been neglected throughout the day. I can't seem to make myself do it during the day. I have always been one to procrastinate, I seem to do better under pressure. It's even worse when he is out of town! I then have several days of being lazy where things need attention. Scott has been gone since Sunday morning and I have been "planning" on cleaning house, the storage room, etc. since then and now it is the night before he comes home. Guess what I have done so far? Absolutely nothing!!!! Oh well, he knows after 10 years that I am not an immaculate housekeeper, he'll be happy to see us anyway.

I am right there with you!
It's funny how you think you are the only one, but in all reality we are all right there with you. :)

I do the exact same thing. "Oh crap, I'd better get some laundry started and the house picked up, Jake is on his way home." It's a talent to do it all so quickly so be proud! By the way, you should know that the bunny candy corns you sent for Izzy are her big motivating potty treats. She LOVES them. I offer her cookies, M&M's, and all sorts of other junk, but she always responds with "candy corn". So thanks!

First step to recovery is admitting you have a problem! Ha, I wish it was that easy. I'm more of a "put it off" sort of chick and never get it done! It's great! At least you actually finsih, or even start!

I'm going private because I realized if people know what town I live in and know this much information about my child, some freak just might come after me. I know it's a long shot, but ya never know. Everyone I like knows my blog by now and so I figure now I'll just have people log in so that I don't get any freaks. Paranoid, probably, but that is why.
