Janae and Scott had a Daddy/Daughter date for Girl Scouts yesterday. It was a Halloween themed party, image that this time of year. They had to dress up and also take a decorated or carved pumpkin. Janae's favorite thing to draw is a rainbow. When she insisted on drawing a rainbow, we tried to convince her to do something else. Scott was finally able to incorporate a rainbow and clouds into the design while making a face. She was beaming when they got home with not one but two awards. They won the People's Choice award and also the Prettiest Pumpkin award. There were about 35 pumpkins entered into the contest, so winning 2 awards was not likely. Great job guys!
