Halloween

We had a crazy, busy day today. We started the morning off at Jackson for the costume parade. Because the kids went through all the classrooms and picked up each class as they went, Addyson ended up being a few minutes late to school. She was pretty excited to see all the costumes and wanted to know when she can walk in the parade too. Next year, honey. I took pictures of them before they went out the door so that I wouldn't have to settle for one with some sort of stain on the front or something just as bad. (I know that I am a freak, but I can't help it.) I took Addyson to school and came home for a short while to get some cleaning done. My house has been a disaster lately and honestly I don't care anymore. After preschool, Addyson had a quick lunch before we headed back to Jackson for Janae's school party. The mom that planned it was awesome. She had a craft for them to do, several games, spooky music and lots of sugar for them to eat. Addyson got a hold of the camera when I was being wrapped like a mummy and took lots of pictures for me, how nice was that. She even took a picture of her "Dorothy" shoes so that she can remember them when they are too small for her to wear. We did the trunk or treat at church before heading home. The girls and I walked the neighborhood for a while. After about 2 houses, Addyson was ready to call it quits, so I sent her back across the street to hand out candy at home. Janae and I finished out the few houses that were left. After dumping and sorting their candy, this is what their loot looks like spread out on the floor. I have to keep it put up or else they would be eating candy all day long. I guess that makes them normal kids, huh. Finally they are in bed, asleep. Life is good.
