Yesterday was the Homecoming parade and Wellness Day for the schools. I volunteered to help out. The kids always love a jump house, especially one with a slide. The favorite though, was the parachute. The girls in charge of the parachute station did a great job. The dress up relay was fun to watch, some kids didn't get the concept of relay, and chose to take their time. Addyson decided to take a time out on the concrete. I love the picture of Janae hugging Addyson. I will need to look back at it often to remind myself that they aren't always fighting. Addyson it fascinated with characters dressed up and McGruff was no exception. Janae told me she would rather watch the parade next year instead of walking in it. I think that is the general consensus among the teachers also. Addyson was thrilled that they threw candy.
