I have been wanting new dishes for a while now. I have looked in stores and online at every site I could find for just the right ones. I thought I had found the ones that I wanted, until I saw that they were $15.95 per dinner plate. Multiply that by 12, add salad plates, bread plates, bowl, mugs, etc..you get the picture-way too expensive. So I was shopping with a friend the other day and saw some plates that I liked, but thought were too much. Deirdra made me check the price and voila!-new dishes at my house. Scott is pleased that I saved $31 per place setting. He is glad he married someone who knows how to save money, just ask him.

I'm so glad Scott is so pleased with your fabulous savings and the stylish new dishes in your cupboard. Husbands just love that sort of thing (yeah right!) Also, the April Fools stuff looks crazy! It all looks incredibly real. Good job!
Phil also loves the fact that I know how to save money. Or maybe he hates the fact that I spend too much money? I can't remember which one it is he likes. I like the dishes though.
